New Canaan police announced on Wednesday, June 12, the new search site, and said Connecticut State Police officers were also still searching a garbage site in Hartford for any shred of evidence connected to the case. Avon is located just west of Hartford.

Divers were seen using sonar equipment to scan the lake off Old Farms Road were the Dulos' five children reportedly took water skiing lessons.

The new search comes more than two weeks after Jennifer Dulos disappeared on Friday, May 24, after dropping off her children at school.

Since that time, her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos was arrested after being caught on video surveillance dumping more than 30 garbage bags that contained clothing and other items that contained Jennifer's blood, an arrest warrant said.

Dulos, along with his girlfriend and housemate, Michelle Troconis, were both charged with evidence tampering and hindering prosecution,

They have both since bailed out of jail on $500,000 bonds.

New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro also said Wednesday that a website dedicated solely to finding Jennifer had generated more 475 tips from all over the United States and even from Australia. Requests for video have resulted in 80 videos being shared with police.
